Leslie Gibson, 88
Mr. Leslie W. Gibson, 88, of Ennis, Texas, died Saturday, June 7, 2003, at Claystone Healthcare Center in Ennis.
He was born on Nov. 16, 1914, in Paris, Texas, to Willie P. and Wyrla Thompson Gibson.
He was raised in Snyder, Texas. He married Ala Mae Lafayette on March 30, 1947. He was a member of the VFW Post #9515 in Portales and the Baptist Church.
He is survived by his wife.
Larry Porch will officiate the services.
Burial will be at Dallas/Fort Worth National Cemetery.

Clifford Wormington, 80
Mr. Clifford Wormington, 80, of Portales, died Wednesday, June 11, 2003, at Covenant Medical Center in Lubbock.
He was born on April 19, 1923, in Minco, Okla., to Ida and Chester H. Wormington.
He served in the U.S. Marine Corps. He moved to California where he went to work at a saw mill, retiring in 1985 and moving to Portales. He married Dorothy Schnizler on Dec. 11, 1965. After her death in 1993, he married Shirley Ford on June 29, 1996, in Portales. He was a member of the Third and Kilgore Church of Christ.
He was preceded in death by his parents; two sisters, Dortha and Melba; and his wife, Dorothy.
He is survived by his wife Shirley; his children, Allen and Carol Schnizler of Cassville, Mo., Dale and Lisa Wormington of North Charleston, S.C., Julia and Robert Schnizler of Potter Valley, Calif., Kathy and Ray Morris of Corbett, Ore., Patty and Paul Cantrell of Willits, Calif. and Michelle and David Boone of Oregon, Wis.; a step-son, Gary Ford (and wife, Cita) of Henrietta, Texas; a step-daughter, Sherry Trudo (and husband, Kevin) of Portales; 16 grandchildren; four step-grandchildren; 14 great-grandchildren; four step-great-grandchildren; three brothers, Marvin Wormington of Willits, Calif., Lester Wormington of McKinleyville, Calif. and Bill Wormington of Sparks, Nev.; two sisters, Zelma Holmes of Ukiah, Calif. and Joyce Kendrick of Republic, Mo.
David Bennett and Jim Kendrick will officiate the services.
Burial will be at Portales Cemetery.
Pallbearers will be Bob Harmon, C.H. and Eldon Hays, Warren Funk and Marvin and Troy Newton.
Arrangements are by Wheeler Mortuarty of Portales.
Services are at 2 p.m. Monday at Wheeler Mortuary Chapel in Portales.
