Men’s Breakfast
There will be a men’s breakfast at the Elida Baptist Church at 7 a.m. on Saturday. All area men are invited to come and share in the fellowship.

Kenna News
Everyone is invited to the remodeled community house for a party at 6:30 p.m. next Tuesday. Residents are encouraged to bring hamburger patties or hot dogs to grill and a side dish or dessert. Everything else will be provided. Call Jene Evens for information at 274-6404.
Fair Time
The county fair will this week in Portales. Senior citizens day will be Thursday with the covered dish luncheon.

Commodities
The commodities will be given out at the Elida Baptist Church at 9 a.m. on Aug. 14. Bring usual proof of address and income.

Open House
Zoe Anna and Brian Tabor held an open house and pot luck luncheon last Sunday at their home.

Around Town
Elida residents sympathize with Debbie and Burton Smith for the recent loss of their nephew. Locals also seek prayers for Travis Husted, who is reported ill, and others in town who are ill and also to those in area nursing homes.
