What’s your idea of a perfect day?
My idea of a perfect day would be hanging out with my friends and family and not having to worry about going to class or work.

What did you think about on Sept. 11?
I was shocked and horrified. I felt so sorry for the families and friends of the people who died.

Tell us about your pet(s):
I have 2 miniature dachshunds. Sophie is a double dapple miniature dachshund and Ringo, my new puppy, is a longhair dapple miniature dachshund. They are wonderful little dogs!

Who’s invited to your fantasy dinner party, and why?
The President of the United States because I really admire him. I would also invite my whole family and some of my closest friends because they are the most important to me!

What do you think about Portales?
I think it is a great place to live. There are so many great people here and I really enjoy working and going to school here.

What’s your favorite TV show, past and present?
Past would be “The Cosby Show” and present would be “Friends.”

What’s so great about your favorite sport?
Rodeo is great because it is mostly an individual sport which relies on your own skills and agility. I rodeoed most of my life and my whole family still rodeos, so I really enjoy it.

Tell us about a time you cried:
A very sad time for me was when my grandfather died on Christmas day in 1997. It was one of the worst days in my whole life.

What was your most embarrassing moment?
I have had so many that I cannot think of just one to tell!

Tell us a story about your mom or dad:
My mom and dad are the most wonderful people I know. They have put up with so much from me and they still love and support me!

What do you envision your life being like in 10 years?
I hope to be happily married, living somewhere in Texas and have a very successful career in agriculture.

What do you like about ENMU?
I love the small classes because you get so much more one-on-one time with the professors and that makes a huge difference.

If money were no object, what would you do to make the world a better place?
I would give food and housing to all the homeless and starving people of the world.

Who is your hero and why?
My hero would have to be my dad. He is the most honest, caring, loving Christian man that I know. He would do anything for his family and friends. I have learned so much from him through the years and I hope to grow up and be as wonderful of a person as he is.
Tell us about your greatest accomplishment:
My greatest accomplishment will be on May 15 when I graduate from ENMU!

If I could do anything, I would …
Win the lottery and live a life of luxury!

What is your greatest fear?
My greatest fear is something bad happening to my family.

What is your greatest hope?
My greatest hope is to make all the right decisions in life so I will be happy and successful.

What is your favorite taste?
My favorite taste would have to be chocolate.

What is your favorite smell?
My favorite smell is right after it rains.

Tell us about your first date:
I really cannot remember my first date, so it must not have been that great!

What is your most prized possession?
My most prized possession is my family and friends. Without them, I do not know if I could get by!
