Thursday, May 20, will be a work day at the Kenna Cemetery starting at 8 a.m. Bring your tools and come help.

The Elida Homemakers club will meet at the country home of Opal Gilmore, for their monthly meeting. Bring a covered dish and join us. We will start around 10 a.m.

Clean Up
The town has set May 21 and 22 as Elida clean-up dates. Those that can help need to come to the Town Hall around 8 a.m. both days. If you have appliances to be picked up as refrigerators, air conditioners or stoves, etc. they will be picked up for $5 each. If you need this service give Nancy Ward a call at 274-6237 or get them picked up.

Around Town
School is out for this term so keep you eyes out for youngsters playing in the streets and riding bikes around.
Some to keep on your prayer list include: David and Delma Graves, Kent Winders, Montie and Fern Cochrain, Fred Anthony, B. J. Radcliff, Bennie Thurman, those in area nursing homes, our overseas personnel and the leaders of our nation.
