No school Monday
Students and staff join their families Monday as the school releases to celebrate Labor Day. Principal Steve Harris wishes each family a safe and relaxing time together as they prepare for a great school year.
Patriotic assembly
Assistant Principal Glenda Meeks extends a cordial invitation to all law enforcement officers, firemen, and military personnel to attend the assembly Friday at 9 a.m. in the Kenneth E. Livingston Gym as the junior high remembers the victims of the Sept. 11, 2001 attack on America. Students especially want to show their appreciation to the men and women who keep America safe.
Following performances by the band and choir, student council officer candidates will present their campaign speeches, exercising one of the freedoms Americans enjoy.
Gridiron games
Tuesday finds the seventh-grade football team hosting Gattis. Gattis’ eighth-grade team comes to town Thursday to face the Rams.
On Thursday, all four of the Lady Ram teams hit the road to Texico for games there.
