ELIDA — The Elida Lady Tigers improved to 10-3 overall (2-0 District 3-1A) with a 25-21, 25-14, 10-25, 25-16 victory over Floyd on Thursday night.
Elida coach Darrell Chenault said he thought both his team and the Lady Broncos (5-10, 1-5) seemed sluggish.
“I thought both teams looked flat,” he said. “I didn’t think either one of us played as good as we could.”
The schools split the preliminary matches, with Elida winning the junior varsity contest 25-22, 22-25, 15-8 and Floyd taking the junior high match 19-25, 25-16, 15-11.
