The school board elections will take place in February, according to Joyce Fraze, Roosevelt County clerk. Those from Portales, Dora, Elida and Floyd who want to declare their candidacy for membership on the school board can do so on Tuesday. Fraze said those who do decide to declare their candidacy can withdraw as late as Dec. 28.
