There will be no school on Monday in observance of Martin Luther King, Jr. Day. The office will be closed as well.
On Tuesday, a representative from Eastern New Mexico University will meet the senior class at 2 p.m.
On Wednesday, the ASVAB test will be administered to students in grades 9-11.

Homecoming activities are set for Jan. 28 at Conqueror Gym at 6:30 p.m.
On Jan. 3, homecoming basketball games will against Community Christian Hereford. The junior varsity boys play at 4 pm, junior varsity girls at 5:15 pm, and varsity boys at 6:30 pm.

What’s been happening in Friday art, music, and drama classes? Some of the art classes are learning animation and how to produce animation for movies.  In music, the high school students are learning to play guitar while the elementary students are working on voice. The drama classes are currently working on productions to be presented in February and March. The productions are “Cactus Wildcat,” “Grandma’s Attic,” and “Pecos Bill, Slue Foot Sue, and a Wing Dang Doo!” More details on the exact dates and times will be announced soon.

We have been working on letters and sounds, phonics blends, counting to 30, and writing numbers 0-9. In science class, we are making crystals, and in art we are working on shapes.
