The only moisture around Dora over the weekend was a few sprinkles and very light showers and ended with fog on Monday morning. Everyone was wishing for more rain.
The wheat seems to be holding on and growing. I don’t know if any one has green bugs in their wheat or not.
There was a memorial for Joelie Cathey’s grandfather on Sunday. She and Billy Cathey, her husband, and family went to join the family in paying respect and tribute in his memory.
There will be a shower for the new son of Clay and Danielle Woodruff 2 p.m. Saturday in the Baptist Fellowship Hall.
