There was a smitten of something white on buildings east of Rogers Monday morning. It definitely was nippy, even all day. There was no measurable moisture that I know of but sure beat the breezy days we’ve had lately.

The commodities are supposed to come in on May 18. This is earlier in the month that has been in a few months. It should be ready soon after lunch in it arrives as usual, about 11 a.m. to 12 noon.

National Day of Prayer
The New Mexico Baptist Children’s home will have a National Day of prayer pancake breakfast at the children’s home on Thursday. Pancakes and sausage will be served beginning at 6:30 a.m. in the gymnasium. Everyone is invited.

Our sympathy is with the Lewis Gregory family in their loss of Lewis this past week.

Those improving are Norma Cummings, Mendi Thompson, and Kristi Ledbetter. Others requesting your thoughts are several senior citizen shut-ins, Lynn Preuit, and Dessie Reed.
