Cross country men finish ninth at OSU

STILLWATER, Okla. — Redshirt freshman Felix Boit of Kenya finished sixth overall and Eastern New Mexico University’s men were ninth out of 21 teams on Saturday in the Cowboy Jamboree cross country meet, hosted by Oklahoma State.

Boit covered the 8K course in 26 minutes, 53 seconds for the Greyhounds, who finished with 251 team points. The field included 222 runners from non-division I universities down to junior colleges.

ENMU’s women were 16th out of 25 full teams with 387 points. The Zias’ leading runner was sophomore Joyce Doan, 51st out of 214 runners with a time of 22:23 over 5K.
