Impact: Mulehsoe will take an unbeaten record into District 2-3A play
Difference: Muleshoe scored two touchdowns in the last 50 seconds of the first half to take a 21-7 halftime lead, including a 15-yard pass from Brant Hamilton to Rudy Gonzales with no time on the clock.
Difference-makers: Muleshoe, Brant Hamilton completed 8 of 13 passes for 216 yards and a pair of first half touchdowns and added 79 yards on the ground. River Road, Andrew Quillen rushed for 81 yards on 17 carries and recovered a fumble in the end zone for the Wildcats’ only score.
By the numbers: Muleshoe recorded more than 200 yards both running and passing.

Impact: Bovina surpassed last year’s win total.
Difference: Bovina outscored Amarillo 21-7 in the second quarter.
Difference-makers:Bovina, Jacob Torbert rushed for 107 yards and two touchdowns and added a 35-yard TD pass to Michael Ortiz. Amarillo, Ben Carzo scored on a 70-yard run.
By the numbers: Amarillo threw the ball 30 times — completing 10.

Impact: Fort Sumner rebounded from last week’s fourth-quarter collapse with a solid win.
Difference: Fort Sumner held the Class 2A Yellowjackets to 112 yards and forced four turnovers.
Difference-makers: Fort Sumner, Jeremy Gauna rushed for 107 yards and a score. Clayton, Tate Fluhman rushed for 86 yards on 15 carries.
By the numbers: Fluhman accounted for all but three of Clayton’s rushin yards.
