Class of 1966 reunion meeting set
There will be a meeting to organize the reunion for the Portales High School class of 1966 at 7 p.m. Nov. 7 at Mark’s Restaurant in Portales. Anyone from the class is welcome to attend. For more information contact Sue Gray at 760-1984.

Documentary wins Emmy
A 30-minute documentary titled “Coming Back: A death and life story about sons, daughters, and friends” which was broadcast on KENW-TV Portales – Channel 3 on Dec. 15, 2004 recently won two Emmy awards. The awards were presented in the Writing and Documentary categories at the Rocky Mountain Southwest Emmy Awards ceremony on Sept. 10 in Phoenix, Ariz.

Program applications accepted
The Community Action Agency of Southern New Mexico is accepting applications for their weatherization program. The program is for low income, elderly and disabled residents. The Weatherization Program is for minor repairs to help the client conserve energy through: window repairs and glass replacement, repair or replacement of exterior doors, insulation, and checking gas-fired appliances for safety.
