Mary Lavender, 68, of Cerritos, Calif., died Monday, Nov. 14, 2005, at her home.
She was born July 28, 1937.
Survivors include her husband, John G. Lavender; a son, Joe G. Lavender of Melrose; a daughter, Cindy Lavender of Cerritos, Calif.; a brother, Joe H. Richards of Clovis; and three grandchildren, J.B., Jessica and Victoria.

A viewing will be held at 1 p.m. Sunday at Steed-Todd Funeral Home in Clovis.

Martha O. Sanchez Sullivan, 67, of Franklin, Mass., died Wednesday, Nov. 16, 2005, at Caritas Norwood Hospital in Norwood following a long illness.
She was born March 29, 1938, in El Paso, Texas.
She worked as an administrator at Wrentham State School in Massachusetts for more than 30 years. She was raised and educated in Texas. After she retired in 1997, she worked as a volunteer at Wrentham for several years, especially at the annual Crackerbarrel Fair.
She was a member of the Quilt Guild of Massachusetts, the Franklin Senior Citizens, American Association of Retired Persons and was a communicant of St. Mary’s Church in Franklin.
Family members said she enjoyed knitting.
Survivors include her husband of 37 years, Charles H. Sullivan; six brothers: Lorenzo Sanchez III of Virginia Beach, Va., Elijio Martinez of Jonesboro, Ga., Ronald David Martinez of Seattle, Wash., Edward Ray Martinez of Fort Worth, Texas, Stanley Martinez of Austin, Texas, and Richard Martinez of Clovis (stationed in Afghanistan with the Army); and three sisters: Florella Broyles and Cynthia Lujan, both of Clovis, and Margaret Martinez of Houston, Texas.
Interment is private.
Calling hours are 4 p.m. to 7 p.m. (EST) Sunday.
In lieu of flowers, the family suggest donations be made in her honor to the ALS Association of Massachusetts, 75 McNeil Way, Suite 310, Dedham, MA, 02026.
