Commodities distributed today
Commodity distributions are from 9 a.m. to noon today at the Memorial Building in Portales.

Residents asked to help fire victim
Portales resident Donald “Andy” Anderson lost his home to a fire on Saturday and everything inside was destroyed. Anderson is staying with family while he looks for a new home.

A fund for Anderson has been set up at Access Bank and a contribution can be made at the Portales or Clovis branches.

Auxiliary holds white elephant and bake sale
Roosevelt General Hospital Auxiliary will hold its holiday bake sale and white elephant sale from 8 a.m. to noon Friday in the foyer of Heartland Continuing Care Center, 1700 S. Ave. O.

Health council meets Friday
The Roosevelt County Health Council will hold its next meeting from noon to 1 p.m. Friday at the RCHC office located at 1805 S. Ave. D (across from Russell’s Super Save).
