Haller/Gutierrez
Dwight and Pam Haller of Tucumcari announce the engagement and approaching marriage of their daughter Tana Rae Haller to Jose Jesus Gutierrez both of Portales, son of Joe and Maria Gutierrez of Clovis.

The couple will exchange vows July 15 at Tucumcari Convention Center. The reception will follow the ceremony.

The bride-elect is a 2005 graduate of Eastern New Mexico University. She is employed at Floyd Elementary School.

The prospective groom is a 1999 graduate of Clovis High School. He is employed at the Clovis Fire Department.

Savitz/Ziegler
Sheila B. Savitz and Connell H. Savitz of Portales announce the engagement and approaching marriage of their daughter, Amanda Lynn Savitz of Portales to Philip S. Ziegler of Hobbs, son of the late Matthew and Pearl Ziegler of Long Island, N.Y.

The couple will exchange vows July 30, 2006 in Las Vegas, Nev.

The reception will be in Las Vegas.

The bride-elect is a 1998 graduate of Eastern New Mexico University where she earned a degree in education. She is a volunteer at Consigning Women Boutique and Angel Foods, Inc.

The prospective groom is a 1985 graduate of the New York Institute of Technology. He is employed by the Blackgold Casino and Racetrack in Hobbs where he is the marketing director and assistant general manager.

Monty and Terri Lancaster of Portales announce the engagement and approaching marriage of their daughter, Heather Bartley of Abernathy, Texas, to Westen Stroup of Dora, son of Brady and Angel Stroup of Dora.

The couple will exchange vows at 6 p.m. June 17, 2006 at Arnold Acres in Portales. The reception will be at Arnold Acres.

The bride-elect is a 2004 graduate of Abernathy High School.

The prospective groom is a 2003 graduate of Dora High School. He is employed at Southwest Cheese Plant. The ceremony and reception are open to friends and relatives.

Rodney and LaVerne Thetford of Rogers announce the engagement and approaching marriage of their granddaughter, Laci Thetford, to Mark Naranjo, son of Raymond and Nancy Naranjo of Roswell.

The couple will exchange vows at 3 p.m. July 1, 2006 at First Baptist Church in Dora.
