Clovis police search for robbery suspect

Clovis police are looking for a pair of male suspects who attempted to rob a Clovis residence at gunpoint Wednesday night.

The two suspects entered a residence in the 1100 block of Sheldon Street around midnight and demanded money, according to a news release from the Clovis Police Department. One had a sawed-off shotgun, according to police.

The suspects fled the scene having taken only a pair of gloves, the release said.

The suspects are described as a white male with brown hair, who was wearing blue jeans and sunglasses with a blue and white shirt wrapped around his face, and a Hispanic male with brown hair, who was wearing blue jeans and a blue sweatshirt.

Witnesses said they are about 20 years old and 5 feet 5 inches tall, and weigh approximately 140 pounds.
