Greyhounds routed in conference opener

WICHITA FALLS, Texas — Sun Potter’s hat trick and stingy defense helped Midwestern State roll past Eastern New Mexico University 6-0 on Sunday in a Southwest Soccer Conference men’s soccer match.

Potter put the Indians (3-1, 2-0 SSC) ahead with his first goal less than three minutes into the match. His scored his second 23 minutes later and once again in the second half when Midwestern broke the contest open.

The Indians led 2-0 before scoring four goals in a span of less than 15 minutes midway through the second half.

ENMU junior goalkeeper Leif Craddock faced a school record-tying 15 shots in the match. His nine saves were three short of the school record.
The Greyhounds (1-2-1, 0-1) managed two shots on goal in the match.
