Police: Marijuana plants seized

Marijuana plants with an approximate street value of $51,200 were confiscated from a Clovis house Friday afternoon by police and drug task force agents, according to officials.

No arrests were made at the scene and no suspects were at home at the time of the search, the Clovis Police Department said in a news release.

Region 5 Drug Task Force agents and Clovis Police discovered about 32 marijuana plants growing inside a home at 914 N. Edwards St. during a search made under a warrant, the news release issued by Clovis Police said.

The case is still under investigation by the Region 5 Drug Task Force.
