Notes: The Pioneers swept ENMU last year en route to a 16-16 record, the program’s best mark since the 1989-90 season. Texas Woman’s finished fourth in the South and knocked off North No. 1 Southwestern Oklahoma in the LSC tournament, advancing to the semifinals for the first time since 1992. … The only player scoring in double figures for the Pioneers is 6-1 senior P Margaret Wimbish (15.7 ppg). She also leads the team in rebounding (7.7), while shooting 51 percent from the field and 80 percent from the line. … Texas Woman’s has had only one streak this season of more than two games — a three-game winning streak in mid-December. The Pioneers, though, come in having lost their last two outings and four of five. … Texas Woman’s shoots just 38.8 percent as a team, but is holding its opponents to 38.9 percent. Through 19 games, the Pioneers have been outscored by a total of nine points (1,216-1,225).
