Police arrest Portales men on drug-related charges

Portales police made two drug-related arrests Thursday with the help of a police informant, according to a Portales Police Department news release.

Chris Roybal, 20, of Portales attempted to sell 3.2 grams of methamphetamine for $225, police said. He is charged with possession of methamphetamine with the intent to traffic.

Freddie Dominguez, 24, of Portales is charged with possession of drug paraphernalia.

Roybal is being held in Roosevelt County Detention Center on a $50,000 cash bond. Dominguez is out on a $1,500 bond.
