March 4, 2007 Police Blotter

The following is a sampling of calls made to Portales police dispatchers during the past week:

Monday
• At 7:37 a.m., a caller reported that their vehicle was missing in the 300 block of South avenue G.

Tuesday
• At 4:59 p.m., a caller requested an officer to report that her dog had been stolen from her front yard in the 1000 block of West Spruce.

Wednesday
• At 12:29 a.m., a caller reported that she heard suspicious noises outside her bedroom window and upon inspection noticed that her screen had been cut.

• At 12:49 p.m., a caller reported a grass fire on N.M. 267.
l At 4:48 p.m., a grass fire was reported in a ditch in the 600 block of East Lime.

• At 5:03 p.m., a caller reported that a Dumpster had blown over and was in the middle of the road on West Lime.

Thursday
• At midnight an alarm company reported a front glass break in the 100 block of West Second Street.

• At 5:45 a.m., a caller reported that his vehicle had been broken into and items taken in the 400 block of North Main.

• At 7:19 a.m., a caller reported her vehicle had been broken into and the stereo was missing in the 1300 block of West Ivy.
