March 18, 2007 Police Blotter

The following is a sampling of calls received by Portales police dispatchers during the past week. According to the reports:

Saturday:
• At 9:56 a.m., a caller reported a broken window on a vehicle in the 300 block of South Avenue D.
• At 7:59 p.m., a caller requested a deputy as a male subject was attempting to break into his home on U.S. 70.

Sunday:
• At 6:41 p.m., a caller requested an officer as someone had just kicked in a door in the 1500 block of Arizona Drive.
• At 10:45 p.m., a caller requested an officer as he had just seen someone peeking into his windows in the 200 block of North Knoxville.

Monday:
• At 12:19 p.m., a caller reported that a black tandem trailer with a toolbox had been stolen from a home in the 1000 block of East Canadian.

Tuesday:
• At 5:38 p.m., a caller reported that someone had broken into their home and stolen items in the 1100 block of West Fir.

Wednesday:
• At 1:52 p.m., a caller reported that their car had been broken into on N.M. 236.
