A ribbon cutting ceremony will be held at 1:30 p.m. today to officially open the N.M. 467 overpass improvement project near Clovis.
Representatives of The New Mexico Department of Transportation, Curry County, City of Clovis and K. Barnett and Sons and others are expected to attend. The ribbon cutting will take place at the Casel-land Fun Center, located at 700 Fairlane, according to a press release issued by the NMDOT.
The $3.6 million project took approximately one year to complete and involved the installation of a new three-span bridge, with sidewalks, curb and gutter, and pavement markings. The project is located at the intersection of N.M. 467 and U.S. 60/84, said the release.
