Q. Describe what your job entails?
A. “Answering the phone, directing people to the appropriate departments, administrative duties. That’s my biggest thing is to assist the department heads as needed.”
Q. What is a typical day on the job like for you?
A. “Answering the phones, assisting customers as they come in, and dealing with any kind of complaints. Answering the phone and assisting people are the biggest things.”
Q. Why did you choose this job?
A. “I wanted to learn more about city government and how it functions and I get to service people which is something I enjoy. Also helping to make that first impression of our community.”
Q. What type of training do you need for your job?
A. “Secretarial work I didn’t have to go to school, and skills obtained from other jobs.”
Q. What do you enjoy most about your job?
A. “Helping the customers and serving our community.”
