TAHLEQUAH, Okla. — In a seesaw affair, Northeastern State scored last and the RiverHawks pulled out a 3-2 Southwest Soccer Conference victory over Eastern New Mexico University on Sunday.

Steven Haughn tallied on a header past diving ENMU goalkeeper Leif Craddock with just under 10 minutes left, and the Riverhawks (3-3, 1-1 SSC) held on for the win. Craddock made seven saves on 10 shots on goal for the Greyhounds (3-2, 1-1).

Northeastern scored first when Clark Bradford converted on a free kick from the top of the penalty box. Freshman Michael James tied it for the Hounds with 15 minutes left in the half, but the RiverHawks went in front 2-1 at halftime on a header by Bo Evans in the 40th minute.

ENMU sophomore midfielder Ryan McClanahan tied it again with his team-leading sixth goal of the season in the 53rd minute, coming on a rebound of a deflection off Northeastern keeper Ransone Rose.

The Hounds will be on the road again this weekend with matches at Texas A&M-International on Friday and St. Mary’s on Sunday.
