Officials pleased with homecoming
Dora High School’s first ever football/volleyball homecoming last weekend was a tremendous success, say school officials. Many fans and family members attended, making for an enthusiastic crowd at the game and ceremony.

School pictures released
School pictures were sent home on Tuesday. Anyone wishing to have retakes needs to return the entire packet on re-take day Nov. 6. Anyone who didn’t get pictures may buy pictures then. Forms are available in the office.
All students and faculty who did not already have a picture made will need to have a picture taken Nov. 6 for the yearbook. Volleyball and football pictures will also be taken on Nov. 6.

Yearbook orders being taken
Anyone wishing to purchase a yearbook from last year (or previous years) can contact Karen Cone at 477-2211 ext. 1102. Last year’s books ($35) will be available at Fun Night in November, and orders for this year’s book ($25) will be taken then as well. Page sponsorships for the 2008 yearbook are now on sale for $80. Businesses, parents, friends, organizations, or past classes may purchase sponsorships and requests for specific pages will be filled on a first-come, first-served basis.

Athletic schedule
Dora hosts two volleyball games this week. The Lady Coyotes will play Melrose at 4:30 pm on Tuesday, and Floyd at 4:30 pm on Thursday.
