Fall cooking and decorating will take center stage as Roosevelt County Extension Home Economist Connie Moyers presents her annual holiday program at 6:30 p.m. Monday and 1:30 and 6:30 p.m. Tuesday at the Memorial Building auditorium, Seventh and Abilene Streets in Portales.
This year’s program is entitled “Happy Fall-i-days” and will feature cooking demonstrations for fall recipes. The recipes included will feature pumpkins, winter squash, apples and sweet potatoes. A number of fall decorating ideas, gifts and food gifts will also be among the program’s topics.
Tickets are $5 and available at the Roosevelt County Extension office, 705 E. Lime St. and include the program booklet and a recipe sampling. Advanced tickets are required.
