Lelei leads Hounds in Div. II Regional cross country meet

JOPLIN, Mo. —Senior Nimrod Lelei ran a time of 32 minutes, 20.1 seconds over 10 kilometers Saturday to finish 22nd in NCAA Division II South Central Regional men’s cross country competition.

ENMU, which sent only a men’s team, was 15th of 16 teams with 331 points. Host Missouri Southern took men’s and women’s team honors.

The top three men’s teams and top two women’s squads, plus the top two individuals not on either of those teams, qualify for national competition on Nov. 17, also in Joplin.
