The entrance road into Oasis State Park is reduced to one lane while the lake is being refilled, according to a news release.
Workers began refilling the pond Thursday after drainage and renovation. Park officials said it will take 10-14 days to completely fill the pond if no problems arise.
A ramp has been built across the road and traffic reduced to one lane to pipe the water from a well more than one-half mile away.
The New Mexico Department of Game and Fish will restock the pond with rainbow trout.
