1-20-08 Magistrate Court

The following dispositions were filed in Roosevelt County Magistrate Court recently. According to the documents:

• Darrnell Yancey, 24, was found guilty of the charge of resisting/evading/obstructing an officer and was ordered to serve 364 days of supervised probation and to pay all court fines and fees.

• Joel Lujan, 21, pleaded guilty to the charge of resisting, evading or obstructing an officer and was ordered to serve 364 days of supervised probation and to complete the ASPEN program and pay all court fines and fees.

• Grady Beachum, 45, pleaded guilty to the charge of battery and was ordered to serve 182 days of supervised probation and to enter into and successfully complete an anger management screening and to complete the ASPEN program and pay all court fines and fees.

• Louis Delgado, 30, pleaded guilty to the charges of concealing ID, no drivers license, speeding 57 in a 35, no insurance and no registration and was ordered to pay all court fines and fees.

• Melissa Martinez, 41, pleaded guilty to the charges of driving while under the influence of intoxicating liquor (first offense), interfering with traffic, open container and was ordered to pay all court fines and fees.

• Jerrod Long, 19, pleaded no contest to the charge of driving on a suspended license and was ordered to serve 364 days of unsupervised probation with the condition to get license reinstated within 60 days and to pay all court fines and fees.

• Jamie Ornelas, 36, pled guilty to the charges of driving while under the influence of intoxicating liquor/drugs (third offense), failure to maintain lane, revoked driver’s license, no insurance, open container and was ordered to serve 182 days in the Roosevelt County Detention Center and to pay all court fines and fees.

• Joel Combs, 20, was found guilty to the charges of criminal trespass, resisting, evading, obstructing an officer and not guilty to the charges of assault on a peace officer and criminal damage to property. The defendant was ordered to two years of supervised probation, to attend the ASPEN program and to pay all court fines and fees.

• Luis Antonio Delgado, 30, pleaded guilty to the charge of battery on a household member and was ordered to 145 days of supervised probation and to attend the ASPEN program and to pay all court fines and fees.
