Woman hospitalized after accident
An Albuquerque woman remained hospitalized in stable condition Thursday evening in Lubbock after a two-vehicle accident near St. Vrain, according to Senior Patrolman Ron Chavez of the State Police.

Officers from the New Mexico State Police and local agencies responded around 2 p.m. to a head-on vehicle collision west of Clovis on U.S. 60, officials said.

The driver of the second vehicle, a woman from Clovis, was taken to Plains Regional Medical Center. Her injuries did not appear life-threatening, according to Chavez.
Each woman was traveling alone.

Heather Wilson to visit Portales
Rep. Heather Wilson, R-N.M., will visit Portales for host a question-and-answer session with Eastern New Mexico University students from 5:30-6:30 p.m. Monday in the Pecos Room of the Campus Union Building.

Wilson is running for the Senate seat currently held by Pete Domenici, R-N.M.
The event is open to the public.
