2-17-08 Police Blotter

The following is a sampling of calls placed to Portales police dispatchers over the last week. According to the reports:

Feb. 10
• At 10:54 a.m. a caller reported someone hit a traffic light on South Ave. D and it was facing the wrong direction. Officer filed hit-and-run report.
• At 6:42 p.m. a caller reported another car hit hers and drove away. Officer was dispatched.

Monday
• At 9:27 a.m. a caller requested to speak to an officer because he believed his neighbors kicked his fence in and kicked his dogs and might have one of his dogs in their residence in the area of West 16th Street.
• At 4:11 p.m. a caller reported that someone called him and told him there were people on his property that shouldn’t have been there in the area of South Roosevelt Road S.
• At 6 p.m. an apartment manager on West First Street reported a stolen television. Officer was dispatched.

Tuesday
• At 4:40 p.m. a caller reported two male juveniles were shooting out car windows with a B.B. gun on North Abilene. Officer was dispatched.

Wednesday
• At 1 p.m. a caller reported a van broken into in the area of North Roosevelt Road 3.
• At 4:12 p.m. a caller reported his television stolen on South Avenue D.

Thursday
• At 1:40 a.m. a caller reported a hit-and-run in the area of South Avenue D. Officer was dispatched and took report.
