The National Weather Service in Albuquerque said there is potential for severe weather in eastern New Mexico this evening.
The primary threat is thunderstorms that could produce large hail,
damaging winds in excess of 60 mph and areas of heavy rain capable of
producing flash flooding, mainly along and east of a line from Colfax
to Guadalupe to Roosevelt counties.
The atmospheric conditions will also favor an isolated tornado, according to the weather service.
The severe weather conditions are possible again during the
afternoon and evening hours on Tuesday and Wednesday, the according to
the weather service.
