A hot dog dinner and star party will be held Saturday at Oasis State Park to celebrate the 75th anniversary of the New Mexico State Parks Service.

Oasis has been a part of New Mexico State Parks Service for 47 years, according to park manager Jim Whary.

Hot dogs and cake will be provided by the Friends of Oasis State Park, according to the group’s president, Aileen Eastwood.

“The cake is our way of saying happy anniversary to Oasis State Park, Eastwood said.
