Information on allergy relief, furniture staining and preparing blueberry beverages will be the featured topics on “Creative Living” at noon Tuesday and at 2 p.m. Saturday.

Cleaning expert Laura Dellutri knows how irritating it can be when allergies take over the home and our health. She’ll suggest some cleaning products on the market that provide allergy relief at a very low cost. Her company is Healthy Housekeeper Inc., and she lives in Overland Park, Kan.

Author, columnist and spokesperson for Minwax, Bruce Johnson says that changing or enhancing the color of wood is far easier than most people believe, especially with a few valuable tips he’ll share. He calls this “Staining 101.” Minwax is headquartered in Upper Saddle, N.J.

Jill Klosowski, spokesperson for TrueBlue*, will talk about the benefits of blueberries, tell how to get a daily serving, and share some quick and easy healthy drinks that every member of the family will enjoy — and they’re good for you, too! She lives in Vancouver, B.C.

Information on decorating cookies and cakes, making skirts and choosing which wine for which food will be the featured topics at 9:30 p.m. Tuesday and at noon Thursday.

Nancy Siler of Wilton Industries in Woodridge, Ill., will show how to use the basic outline and star decorating technique to create colorful and exciting cakes, cookies and much more.

Sewing expert Sue Hausmann will demonstrate making quick skirts. Hausmann is vice president of education for Husqvarna Viking Sewing Machine Co. in Westlake, Ohio.

According to Sunny Cristadoro, living well is a pleasure, especially when you have good food and wine on your table. Cristadoro is a chef with St. Supery Vineyards and Winery in Rutherford, Calif.

Blueberry Cocktails

TrueBlue Moo: 1 oz. Kahlua, 2 oz. milk, 2 oz .TrueBlue Blueberry Cocktail. Mix together and serve over ice.

TrueBlue Marguerita: 1/2 oz. tequila, 1 oz. Amaretto, 1/2 oz. triple sec, 3 oz. TrueBlue Blueberry Cocktail, 1/2 oz. lime cordial. Blend with ice and serve in a sugar-rimmed marguerita glass.

TrueBluetini: 1 oz. TrueBlue Blueberry Cocktail, 1 oz. triple sec, 1/2 oz. Amaretto, 1/2 oz. Cointreau. Combine TrueBlue Blueberry Cocktail, triple sec, Amaretto, Cointreau and ice. Shake and strain into a martini glass.

TrueBlue Driver: 1 oz. vodka, 2 oz. TrueBlue Blueberry Cocktail, 2 oz. orange juice. Pour vodka over ice. Add TrueBlue Blueberry Cocktail, then add orange juice.

TrueBlue Lu Lemon: 1 oz. vodka, 2 oz. TrueBlue Blueberry Cocktail, 2 oz. lemonade. Pour vodka over ice. Add TrueBlue™ Blueberry Cocktail, then add lemonade
