Dale Streeter, assistant professor of history, presented a paper Oct. 3 at the annual meeting of the Texas Medieval Association in Lubbock. His paper was titled “Durand de St. Porcain’s Brief Episcopate at Limoux: Conflict or Convenience.”
Michael F. Shaughnessy has recently been asked to serve as a reviewer for the South African Journal of Psychology and for the Journal of Teacher Education. He has also been asked to serve as an external reviewer of doctoral dissertations for the Graduate College, Union Institute and University, in Cincinnati, Ohio.
Blythe Tuner has been named the 2008-2009 New Mexico Teacher of the Year by the New Mexico Public Education Department, according to a department news release. Turner graduated from Clovis Community College and Eastern New Mexico University and is currently a student in the University of New Mexico doctoral program. She is a bilingual education teacher and Native American liaison with the Rio Rancho public schools.
ENMU grad Dan Hays has won his 600th victory as a college basketball coach. He is now 529-288 in his 26th year at Oklahoma Christian University. Hays is in the ENMU Athletic Hall of Honors.
