Second-half rally pushes Cameron past Zias

Cameron’s Tera Tremayne entered Saturday’s Lone Star Conference women’s crossover game against Eastern New Mexico University shooting less than 18 percent for the season from 3-point range.

Suffice it to say, she found her stroke against the Zias.

Tremayne went 5-for-6 from 3-point range, including three in a row in a span of about two minutes to help the Aggies beat the Zias 72-57 at Greyhound Arena.

The junior guard finished with a game-high 23 points as the Aggies (5-5) exceeded their win total (four) for each of the past two seasons.

Tremayne entered the game with an 8.7 scoring average and 11-of-62 from 3-point range.
