Notes: The Texans have lost at home to Texas A&M-Kingsville 51-45 and at Angelo State 85-80 in four overtimes in South play. The Rams outscored Tarleton 5-0 in the fourth OT. … It’s the first time the Texans have started 0-2 in division play, and their first 0-2 LSC start since 1995-96. … Team leaders for Tarleton are 6-3 senior G Marlin Cloudy (13.4 ppg) and 6-6 senior F Eric Williams (12.6 ppg, 9.8 rpg). … Tarleton beat ENMU 83-43 and 63-53 last season en route to a 25-6 record. … ENMU, which lost its division opener at Abilene Christian 68-58 on Jan. 13, hasn’t won away from home, but is 4-4 this season at Greyhound Arena. … Junior G Kelvin Franklin leads the Greyhounds in scoring (10.7 ppg), but has been limited to seven games due to injury. Notes: The TexAnns lost in the final second at Angelo State 51-50 on Saturday and are 0-2 in the South for the first time in six years. They lost at home 82-78 to Texas A&M-Kingsville in their division opener when the Javelinas shot 78 percent in the second half to erase a 13-point deficit. … Tarleton swept ENMU last season, winning 68-47 in Portales and 79-64 in Stephenville, Texas. … D’Anna Dingler, a 5-9 senior G, leads the TexAnns in scoring (12.4 ppg), while 6-0 junior C JoAnne Jones averages 12.1 ppg and a team-best 6.1 rebounds. … ENMU has lost three in a row to fall under .500 for the first time since losing its season opener at Fort Lewis on Nov. 15. … Sophomore F Cat Clay topped the 20-point mark for the third time this season with 21 in a division-opening 73-65 loss at Abilene Christian last week. She leads the Zias in scoring for the season (14.0 ppg).
