Altrusa International Altrusa International Inc. of Portales met April 27 in the Sandia Room at Eastern New Mexico University. President Vaunceil Turnbough presided over the business meeting and conducted the opening ceremonies. The minutes from the previous meeting were approved as corrected. There were 25 members present. Jo Nell Brooks gave the Altrusa Accent.
