Alumni and employee briefs
• LaChrystal Ricke, assistant professor of communication, recently had an article titled “YouTube: A Vehicle for Political Dialogue” published in Politics Magazine.
• ENMU graduate De’Mone Curry has been hired as Manzano High Schools’s new girls basketball coach, Manzano athletic director Bob Kelly said. Curry, who played basketball and ran track at Lackland High School in San Antonio and played football at Eastern New Mexico University from 1988 to 1992, replaced former Monarch coach Raul Diaz.

ENMU’s 1940 Silver Pack yearbook is now on the 75th anniversary Web site at www.enmu.edu/75th.

Back-to-campus sessions, breakfast set
Staff back-to-campus sessions will be at 8:30 a.m. and 1:30 p.m. on Aug. 10 in Science 108. Staff only need to attend one session.
The president’s back-to-campus breakfast will be in the Campus Union Building Ballroom on Aug. 14. The serving line begins at 7:30 a.m., and the program begins at 8 a.m.
Faculty back-to-campus sessions will immediately follow the breakfast.
