THE NATIONAL WEATHER SERVICE IN ALBUQUERQUE HAS ISSUED A WINTER WEATHER ADVISORY FOR SNOW…WHICH IS IN EFFECT FROM NOON TODAY TO NOON MST THURSDAY.

* SNOW ACCUMULATIONS…2 TO 4 INCHES OF WET SNOW IS EXPECTED.

* TIMING…A MIX OF RAIN AND SNOW IS EXPECTED TODAY…BEFORE PRECIPITATION CHANGES OVER TO ALL SNOW THIS EVENING. SNOW WILL TAPER OFF THURSDAY MORNING.

* WINDS…WIDESPREAD SIGNIFICANT WINDS ARE NOT EXPECTED.

* SNOW LEVELS…TEMPERATURES WILL BECOME COLD ENOUGH FOR SNOW AT ALL LOCATIONS BY SUNSET.

* LOCAL IMPACTS…ROADWAYS MAY BECOME SLICK AND HAZARDOUS…ESPECIALLY AFTER SUNSET WHEN TEMPERATURES DROP BELOW FREEZING. VISIBILITIES MAY ALSO BE REDUCED TO LESS THAN ONE MILE
AT TIMES IN SNOW AND FOG.
