Meetings watch: Hospital waits on rate approval to bill Medicaid

Roosevelt General Hospital Board has been approved but have to wait a little longer before it can bill Medicaid as a rural health clinic on a cost basis.

Hospital Administrator Larry Leaming said the hospital can start implementing systems to bill Medicare and Medicaid for rural health clinic visits.

Leaming said he is just waiting on the federal program to approve the rate.
