Spring band concert

The junior high and high school bands will perform their spring concert at 7 p.m. tonight at the Performing Arts Center on the high school campus.

Job shadowing

Eighth-grade students were able to experience being in the workforce Friday as they job shadowed at various places in our community. The students were able to choose a job of interest to them and dressed appropriately for that position.

Spring pictures reminder

As of the last count, 147 students have not returned photos. If you are one of those students, you owe $42 or need to return your photos. This needs to be taken care of immediately.

Yearbook availability low

There are now 38 yearbooks available for purchase. Currently, 180 students have not bought theirs.The cost will stay at $30 through the end of April then will increase to $35 until the end of school.


The seventh- and eighth-grade track teams will travel to Marshall Junior High in Clovis for an 8 a.m. Saturday meet.

Catapult launch

Science teacher Laura Debusk reports that the PJH honors science classes will be launching catapults 2 p.m. April 30. They have worked all year, learning concepts that they will incorporate into this project.
