The National Weather Service in Albuquerque has issued a Hard Freeze Warning which is in effect from 3 a.m. to 8 a.m. MDT Thursday. The freeze watch is no longer in effect.

• Temperatures – lows will fall to between 26 and 32 degrees.

• Timing – the greatest threat for freezing temperatures will occur between 3 a.m. and 8 a.m.

• Local impacts – those with tender outdoor vegetation and animals should take the necessary precautions to protect from freezing temperatures.
