Information on repurposing book covers, silk screening, and the art of aromatic blending will be the featured topics on “Creative Living” at 9:30 p.m. Tuesday and noon Thursday.

Lauren Ferguson will show an easy way to repurpose vintage book covers for pennies on the dollar, and they make a perfect keepsake for your travels. Ferguson is a mixed-media artist, and her company is Everything Altered LLC. She’s from Dacula, Ga.

Author and designer Cindy Losekamp will show an amazing new way to embellish any type of clothing. This updated type of silk screening uses no frames or emulsion and just a little time. Her business is called Sew Artfully Yours Inc., and she’s from Trenton, Ind.

Kris Wrede is an aromatic alchemist and natural perfumer, and her business is Kismet Potions in Albuquerque. Wrede will talk about the history of precious and wonderful essential oils and rare floral absolutes, which are key to creating a mellifluous blend. She’ll demonstrate the basics of the art of aromatic blending.

Information on online vacation planning, decorating kitchen accessories and speed scratch cooking will be the featured topics on “Creative Living” at noon Tuesday and 2 p.m. Saturday.

Kendra Thornton, travel expert with orbitz.com in Chicago, Ill., will explain how to find the best vacation deals online, especially if your travel plans are flexible.

Tera Leigh represents a company called Paintability, and she will demonstrate how to use acrylic paints, stencils and an applicator that resembles a rubber stamp to decorate some kitchen accessories. She lives in Carlsbad, Calif.

Nancy Berkoff will demonstrate how ready-made fresh produce makes “speed scratch cooking” a breeze. She represents Ready Pac in Los Angeles.
