Coyote hunt setting bad example

The Curry County community of Grady was scheduled to host a coyote hunt this weekend with two purposes — thin the coyote population that threatens cattle ranchers and raise money for school athletics teams.

A Grady resident complained about the event, saying coyote killing should not be sport.

Anonymous reader comments online have overwhelmingly supported the coyote hunt, but at least one Clovis resident has a different take.
