Press release: NM gas prices up 2.1 percent

New Mexico, January 24- Average retail gasoline prices in New Mexico have risen 2.1 cents per gallon in the past week, averaging $2.96/g yesterday.

This compares with the national average that has increased 1.3 cents per gallon in the last week to $3.09/g, according to gasoline price website NewMexicoGasPrices.com.

Including the change in gas prices in New Mexico during the past week, prices yesterday were 31.0 cents per gallon higher than the same day one year ago and are 14.1 cents per gallon higher than a month ago. The national average has increased 8.1 cents per gallon during the last month and stands 39.3 cents per gallon higher than this day one year ago.
