Clovis man still in serious condition after shooting

A Clovis man who was shot in the head Wednesday night remains in serious life-threatening condition.

Curry County Sheriff’s officials have said Daniel Perez, 26, was shot in the head in the 900 block of South Valley Street around 11:30 p.m. Wednesday night.

Flown to a Lubbock hospital for treatment shortly after the shooting, Perez’ condition was unchanged Friday evening, according to Undersheriff Wesley Waller.

Waller also said there has been no arrest in the case, classifying the investigation as, “active and ongoing.”
