Running club

A running club is being started in Clovis.

The club will meet 4 p.m. Tuesdays starting Jan. 3 at Goodwin Lake Trail parking lot.

The club is looking for runners and walkers of all abilities.

Wii event

Teen programming from 4 p.m.-6 p.m. Thursday at the Portales Public Library features the Wii tournament “Mario Kart.”

It’s free and open to teens.
